Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus - Cura Settings

UPDATE January 7th 2020: Recent Cura 4.x has a builtin template for the wanhao duplicator i3 plus which works fine for me.

I recently acquired a Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus 3D printer. To use it with Ultimaker's Cura the following settings have to be entered in the printer settings:

- Printer > Add > Other > Prusa i3

- Machine Settings - Printer

X Width: 200mm
Y Width: 200mm
Z Height: 180mm
X Min: 20mm
Y Min: 10mm
X Max: 10mm
Y Max: 10mm
Gantry Height: 59mm

- Machine Settings - Extruder

Nozzle size: 0.4mm
Compatible material: 1.75mm

So far my best results with ABS on this printer are setting the extruder temperature to 230 and the bed temperature to 90. Depending on the size and layout of the print it is advised to turn off print cooling. This especially holds for bigger solid objects without many details. Detailed small prints benefit from print cooling, altough the risk on warping is higher.
