Resetting APC Battery Install Date

When replacing a battery in an APC UPS, the Battery Install Date has to be reset.
On some firmwares the LED display will ask you to reset this date, but this will not happen on all devices. Or in my case, my LED display is broken.
On the APC Smart-UPS SRT 5000 model, with battery pack APC RBC 140 this can be done using the NMC.
- Login to the NMC
- Go to Status -> Battery System
- Click on "Internal Pack"
- Change the installation date
- Press Apply
